Dr Rachel Ng graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2009, with a double degree in Medicine and Medical Science. She returned to Singapore to train as an internist in the Internal Medicine Residency programme, and has accrued many years of clinical experience in tertiary hospitals across the country. Her training has exposed her to a broad range of subspecialties, including Cardiology, Intensive Care Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Endocrinology and Rheumatology. In her 4th year of training, she obtained her post graduate qualifications and was registered as a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (Edinburgh).
Dr Ng is particularly passionate about promoting women’s health and wellness in Singapore.
As a female, she understands the unique concerns and needs of women as patients, and works actively towards optimising their health. She strives to raise awareness for women’s health through public education, and practices preventative medicine through the use of judicious health screening and risk factor modification.
A strong proponent of continuing medical education, she keeps herself regularly updated on the latest advances in medicine, and continues to attend workshops and courses to further enhance her clinical skills.
